New here and new to IVF
hello all
My name is Tracy, I have just joined up here are lurking for a while.
Dh and I have been TTC almost 3.5yrs following a vas reversal. We both have kids from our previous marriages, including a set of twins each.
I have 4 kids, dd 14, ds 12 and twins ds & dd 7. He has 3 ds twins 14 & ds 9.
After many tests, a lap proceedure and removal of CIN 1 cells back in Oct, I spent 5 months on clomid.....nothing. Which brings us to now.
I had my initial appointment with the FS on Monday just gone and am booked into Concept for 11 Aug (feels like forever away) to start my raft of medications pill popping and needle jabbing.
Given dh's low count and morph we are going staright for ICSI. I was a bit shocked as I kinda expected the doc would stuff us around and suggest all kinds of other stuff....happy tho that they are actually going to do something for us.
I am excited and scared out of my mind and trying to read everything I can so I know what to expect.

Hi Tracy,
Welcome! I hope you find support here. DH & I went straight to ICSI, and had some good results too. I hope you have a positive journey to becoming a mother again, and that your stay in LTTTC is short!
GL for August!

Hi and welcome Tracy.
I am on my first IVF cycle also, I have lots of female factor issues, DH has good swimmers! We need IVF due to my scarred tubes......
These forums are my saving grace at the moment, I have so many questions and there are so many experienced and wonderful women here who answer them so well.
I hope that you get your BFP really soon!
Hugs
Sue xxxx
