Our picks

Well, Tristan (my fiance) and I already have names picked out... I'm not sure about the girls name, but the boys I love... Anyway, I wanted to get opinions from you lovely folks! The names are:

Boy: Lachlan Thomas Lyon
Girl: Kaylee (or Kayleigh) Jasmine Lyon.

We decided on Kaylee because 1) it's a pretty name, and 2) we're massive fans of Joss Whedon's Firefly series, and it was either Kaylee Jasmine or River Jasmine! But thinking on it now, Kaylee would suit a child, but not so much an adult... but what do you all think?

i think Kaylee suits but a child and an adult.
i think it is a lovely choice!

And i really like Lachlan - it has a presence about it.

I love what you've picked! Kayleigh is on my list, and I've gone with that spelling because, as the child gets older, the name's spelling will suit also for an "older person". It suits both child & adult really. But it is still a very cute baby name. IYKWIM? Sorry if I'm not clear haha. :rolleyes:

But all in all, I think they're both gorgeous names!

Nah, I know what you mean... I was thinking Kayleigh too... that way, if she wanted to when she was older, she could shorten it to Leigh.
