Genetic Factor Website
Hello Lovely Ladies,
Just thought I would bring your attention to a new website dedicated to infertility caused by genetic factors. It is a great source of information - a community-based library of sorts, and has the option of sharing your own personal story. The intention of the site is to collate articles, information and stories to provide support to couples who are going through, or have been through the heartache of genetic factor infertility.

It may be a very valuable resource for many of you on your journey,
Much love

I hope you don't think this comment is inappropriate but I had a look on this website and there is a lot of information on here that is not factually correct. I just think it may cause more worrying for people if they have just found out they have a genetic abnormality.

Hello,
No, I don't think your comment is inappropriate at all. That website is one couple's story, and I know that despite the odds stacked against them, they naturally conceived a healthy daughter now aged three. I think their intention is to give hope to those in similar situations, not to increase fears/worry.
As a Naturopath, I know for a fact that you can overcome many fertility issues (even genetic ones) with the use of herbal medicines, homeopathy, diet and lifestyle changes. Many, many couples have reduced fertility, but a much smaller number are truly classed as 'infertile'. In my opinion, there is always hope, and that is what the focus should be, not on feeding fears.
Thank you for your comment - the beauty of these forums is that everyone can express their opinion, and I think yours is very valid.
All the best, and thank you again for pointing this out.

You can't overcome unbalanced chromosomal translocations by naturopathy or any other lifestyle choices.
I found the Little Ella story to be gorgeous.

Yes, this is unfortunately true.
The story about little Ella is absolutely beautiful x
