Charting temperature confusion

hi

this sis my second month charting my temps.

im using fertility friend.

my question is :

this cycle i have 3 temperature dips why is that?

i only had 2 dips last cycle and i got AF.

also is 5 dpo to early for implantation if thats what it was? i had a sharp shooting pain toward my left ovary for a few second on cycle day 21.

could that have been implantation?

I think it is possible for implantation to occur at 5DPO... but it more likely to occur a bit later. I am not sure why you are getting dips. Your temps aren't very stable. Are you temping orally? Maybe next cycle you could telp vaginally, it causes much steadier temps. :)

this is prob a silly question, but how do you do vag temps? how high does it go?

i am just playing around with charting, and it is a bit more confusing than i thought it would be.

Kate, you just need to put the tip of the termometer into your vagina. You chart also shows unstable temps, which may be due to temping orally. Usually Vag temps are higer than oral temps, but they are usually more stable. Wait until you are due to start a new cycle and see how you go then :)
