I'm looking into getting a new dishwasher. My 10 year old Westinghouse isn't doing it's job anymore. I'd ideally love an Asko but it's out of the question, too expensive. I've seen a F&P one for a fantastic price. Are they any good or would I be better off spending more and getting a Bosch?
What about Blanco are they good?
we just got a new dishwasher and we got Bosch and I love it!!!! so quiet!!
If you mean the F&P dishdrawers, then I probably wouldn't. Everyone I know who has had one has had problems with leaking and them breaking down.
We have a Miele (it was already in the house we bought) and it's bloody brilliant but I think they are exxy.

I have a F&P and it is around 7-8 yrs old. It broke down just outside it's 12 month warranty and has been just sitting in the kitchen that way until about 3 weeks ago. DH and a plumber mate looked at it finally, and it was just a bit of grime build up believe it or not. They fixed it, but it has still stopped a couple of times since then,and not dumped the remaining water completely, but DH knows how to sort it out...something to do with the return valve being open and the water flowing back into the machine.... Plumber said it is a crappy design. Not sure how differently the new ones are designed...and not sure how helpful that is to you either...have you tried to google for F&P Reviews for the model you are looking at?
We bought a F&P late last year and I regret it. It is flimsier than past dishwashers that I have had. It stopped working properly not long after we got it installed. Took ages for a repairman to come out, as they don't like warranty work. Even after being repaired we had the odd problem still of the bottom arms not spinning. Wish we had spent less money and gone with a Westinghouse like we had previously.
hop onto choice hun. the fee is not much compared to repairs for dodgy whitegoods. it was $22 when I bought our DW in January.
