Return of af after total weaning?

Not sure where best to post this question...

For those that didn't get af back till after weaning completely - how long after the end of bfing did it come back?

With DD - 4 weeks after cold turkey
With DS - about 8 weeks after cold turkey

Almost two months for me... after a gradual weaning process over a month. But it was only 6 month pp... so maybe not so relevant for you...

I have just got AF back after a week of only doing night feed, and it is back with force :( ds is 14 and half months old

Thanks. So maybe 1-2 months, I guess?
Guess we'll have to wean by next month to have any chance of an IVF cycle before year's end.
Oh well, will see how we go :)

It can be up to 4 or 5 months hun, it is a very individual thing. I hope that af shows soon for you.

I've decided to try and stop obsessing about this and just focus on the positives: We have a successful bf relationship where every day takes us closer to the time when DS will be ready to wean and I'm not in pain every month.
