Molars and Tanties!
Help! My 14 month old is getting two top molars, both are just through the gum and causing him some pain! I feel like I am giving him Panadol every night as it's the only thing that settles him. He is waking almost hourly. He goes to bed ok with Bonjela and then if I apply it when he wakes at night, he goes back to sleep and then wakes up the next hour so I end up giving panadol and he settles for the night. Is this bad? I'm back at work 3 days a week and am just exhausted but I don't want to give him Panadol all the time, afterall, he has 10 teeth to go!
Also, he has just started with screaming tantrums. When he gets frustrated he sits there and screams with clenched fists. It's awful! He has JUST started to walk and I know they can sometimes get really unsettled but I'd just like to know if this is all ok and normal behaviour.
Is it best to ignore the screams or distract him with something?
Thanks ladies.

I have no answers for you, but I always look out for your posts because our boys were born on the same day. No molars here yet and only mini-tantys.....hm, seems like I have some fun to look forward to! I think everything you are describing sounds normal.
Peter just started walking too- its so cute!
