What to do, what to do....
I am a bit lost for what to do here.
I just started Management Training with KFC... and last night came across a job I am super interested in.
Now, don't get me wrong - I LOVE my job at KFC. The unpredictability, the fast pace, working with a team, the bad mouthing teenagers... I do love it. I am a bit over the politics of the place and I am a bit unsure about managament at the moment. But I do like my job.
Now they have invested a bit in me by giving me the opportunity to train for management and that's great - so is it bad if I go off somewhere else now?
The job with ACM is admin - not something I have extensive experience with, but it's ACM!! (Aus. College of Midwives). Considering I want to be a midwife I can only imagine this being an amazing opportunity and partial stepping stone for me. Guaranteed hours, 12 month contract.
Whereas KFC have just ditched me back to 20hrs a week - with a non-working partner that is not enough to support us. http://tots-n-tums.net/forums/images/smilies/doh.gif Let alone the freeloaders.
So while part of me is so keen to go management training, considering where I want to head career wise it has me wondering if maybe I should just apply... Who knows i might not even got a phone call, let alone an interview etc.
Anyway... if I work in Canberra, DF is more likely to go back to work to - also more likely to be able to get childcare AND that means sooner move back to Melbourne...
I also thought I could keep my availability for KFC to weekends and still do the training too for some extra dosh.
What do you guys think...
