Wanted: Spare room in Launceston

Hello :)

DH is taking the job in Tassie, and will be down there in a month's time for a month, then he will fly back to the coast for 2 weeks, then back down there for 2 weeks etc until the baby comes.

We are trying to find cheap accommodation for him whilst he is down there, since it will only be around 2ish months that the rest of us will still be up here, and he's down there by himself.

So if anyone knows of ANYONE that has a spare room they would be willing to rent to him for a few months, that would be fabbo!!! We are trying to get the cheapest possible accommodation because we will still be paying our mortgage up here at the same time, so we don't want to go broke or anything!!

Yeah sorry guys - I'd still be moving even if he doesn't get a room - just means we'd go broke for a while paying mortgage and rent ;)

We had to pay close to $1000 a week (mortgage and rent) for 6 weeks!
and soon to be doing it again!

Nah ours won't ever get THAT bad... max will probably be $500 a week - which is still stretching his income - cos most of my income goes to pay daycare fees the one day I am at work for :rolleyes:
