Living in London with babies?

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has lived in London with babies? I'm pregnant with my first and my DH is thinking about looking for jobs in London. I've got really, really bad neck and shoulder problems so lifting strollers up and down stairs is not an option for me. I would need to live somewhere very accessible! Has anyone done it? Is it doable?

There are lots of people with babies in London so I guess it must be doable. If stairs are a problem you could look for a ground floor flat or one with a lift.
Lots of the tube stations don't have disabled access so you might want to live near one that does (or just catch buses instead).
