mid cycle bleed?

Hi everyone
Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else and whether its normal.
I stopped taking the pill at the beginning of may and have had 2 cycles since, one 36 day and one 43 day. My last af was on 23rd July and then on cd13 (5th Aug) i had light bleeding which I still have now. Not sure if it is is af as it is still really light (mostly brown with a tinge of red, sorry TMI) which is not normal for me, but dont know what else it would be. i have never had a bleed this early, even when TTC DD my cycles were between 32-36 days.
Any advice appreciated.

could it be o bleed. i spot for a couple of days around o.

Not sure if it was an O bleed, it lasted about 3 days all up. Not sure if its 'spotting' either it was on the toilet paper every time i wiped (sorry TMI) but not enough that I would need to use a panty liner or anything.
When you have o spotting is it before, during or after you o?

Apologies if I don't use correct / any acronyms as i'm new to the site :) I don't usually have any mid-cycle spotting or bleeding but I do have long cycles (35 days plus). in June at the time my temp peaked I had 2-3 days of spotting, like you just on the loo paper and pinkish. Didn't think a lot of it, was more suprised when I got a suspected period about 10-12 days later as it was only day 23 of my cycle. No reason to suspect pregnancy as my temp was all over the place.. Figured it was just a really short cycle and started cycle count again until I got to 42 days last week and carried out a HPG - well 5 actually - all of which were positive!!

Having researched it & asked questions of people since, it seems that spotting at O and then a seemingly short, light bleed at implantation isn't uncommon & that I won't be the first to mistakenly suspect I'd had a period ;)

So I could be wrong and I just had wierd unexplained bleeding (I'll found out if it was an implantation bleed or an actual period when blood test results tell me how far gone I am tomorrrow) but it seems that I had the same as you and it was an O bleed and that I may have conceived at that time..

hi tm. i just had it the day of o. and it was only a very small amount when i wiped. good luck and keep me posted.

thanks for the replies. I am thinking that is def af but just really light as it was only 2 wks ago that I had af. I still have light bleeding now so it wouldnt be O bleed and according to ff i havnt o'd anyway. FF hasnt started it as a new cycle tho so I have no idea whether I am now cd 18 or cd 5, will prob just keep temping and see what happens.

really sounds like me at the moment. Although my cycles aren't usually long. Mine are only usually 25days. I started getting light bleeding friday which is a wk early. My periods are usually pretty heavy but at the moment its hardly anything. So i really no how you feel at the moment. So confusing. Good luck
