Well.. to cut a long story short.. mum did come down to cook dinner for us on Thursday, but in the middle of eating, my waters broke... and in a BIG way. LOL. Don't listen to the midwives that tell you it's more likely to trickle!!
Anyway... rushed around getting things together and went back to the hospital, but contractions disappeared My labour was augmented Friday morning, and my little boy arrived at 3.35pm! Official labour was 5 1/2 hours.. and NO DRUGS!! woohoo!!
Anyway, his name is Tallon, we haven't decided on a middle name yet. He weighed 2.72kg (6lb), 48cm long, head circ 34cm.. and even tho I'm biased.. I have to say.. he's very cute. Photos will be up shortly.
We arrived home about 2 hrs ago, and I gotta say.. i feel totally disorganised LOL. I have nowhere to put him down except in his cot! Mum is coming down shortly, and she's gonna take me out to buy a portable cot for downstairs, and it'll also be good for taking to her place as well.
Will catch up soon guys. Will also start putting my birth story together too.
