Barrier creams and fleece liners

Hi,
My almost 5 week old boy has a stubborn nappy rash. Fortunately it doesn't seem to bother him too much. A couple of weeks ago I started using cloth nappies on him (rash was there before) I have mainly bamboo terry flats, a few imse vimse contours and a couple of fitteds. I use microfleece liners for the stay dry effect (his rash neither improved nor worsened since introducing the microfleece).
I am also using a barrier cream on advice of my midwife.
I'm just wondering whether I should wash the liners seperately? Would the cream get distributed through my whole load of nappies and affect their absorbency?

You can wash them in the regular load but before you do give them a good scrub in hot water and a bit of dishwashing liquid to break up the cream first.
I haven't had a problem with it transferring in the wash to other nappies when I've used it but it won't come out of the liners without some elbow grease and it will eventually go a gross grey colour.

I usually just chuck them in with the rest. They seem fine to me?
The white fleece does go ikky grey, but I have some green fleece liners & you can't notice it on them at all :)

Mine are purple and I can't see any stains after 2-3 weeks of barrier cream use.
On occasion I have also used Lansinoh on his bottom. I figured that if it's good for sore and cracked nipples, why not for a sore bum. It seems to be good.
The good news is that the rash seems to finally be clearing up - yay! I felt so sorry for my poor wee man.
