Walking after a meal, good for you!
I'm in the process of making a radical lifestyle revision, and in my research i came across this:
Take a walk every day after dinner. This may not seem like a dietary measure, but walking aids digestion. When the body properly digests food, the nutritional value of the food is directed toward body functions, such as healing.
I never walk after meals, especially dinner because i was brought up that you had to rest after meals so your food digest properly....
Does anyone know if the above statement is definately true?
