is this one of those signs i always hear about?

a member of my family passed away a few months ago. it was my DD1s 3rd birthday yesterday and i had been wearing my family members watch. after the party was over i sat back and relaxed for a bit and took off the watch. after about 5mins i could smell what reminded me of what my family member smelt like. it must have been the perfume or something from the watch i thought. so i smelt my wrist and the watch and they didnt smell like anything. soooo, do you think it was one of those signs where my loved one was saying , 'hi'?

I occasionally get wafts of baby powder through my house, especially in the living room where my little angel's box is.

I think that was a really lovely sign for you to let you know they were there with you.

I def believe in this kind of thing and i think they were popping by to say they enjoyed the party and they are always there.

My DD's middle name is after my great grandmother and i often hear DD awake talking at night after i have dreamed GG has been watching over her.
DD is only 10mths old so it's cute garble rather than talk... hehe

I hope you get to smell the smell and enjoy the watch many more times to come.

Oh yes!! And I do believe our loved ones love a party!

My sister emailed me the other day because she'd been looking at photos taken at a recent party we had...there are a series of luminous orbs in various photos which can't be explained away by a trick of light, dust etc because of the photos taken moments before & afterwards from the same spot with the same lighting. I believe we had some company, joining us for the fun!

Both my older sister & myself for a few years after our beloved Great Aunt passed away we both have smelt her perfume about in our homes. For me sometimes it would be during the daytime others at night. I have even smelt it when i moved house. A very strong distinct gorgeous smell of her signature perfume she would wear when alive, i would smell it only for a few moments but it was very strong ... my sister experienced it the same way as i.

smiles4you- funny you should mention that but the smell i got only lasted a moment too. and actually now that i try and think about it i cant pinpoint what it smelt like i just know that i thought of her and thats what she smelt like when i smelt it.

marydean- i looked though our photos from the party and there arent any orbs or anything in them.

its funny, actually cause sometimes i think that my DD2 is looking and smiling at something that isnt there. she often looks to the right side of me and smiles at something. she is a smiley baby so maybe it is just coincidence but it does make me think. i named DD2's middle name after her also, so maybe they are linked together somehow.. i dunno how this stuff really works though.

also, when i was giving birth a song came on that really linked the two lives together so i wonder if this was her doing as well. she died about a week before bub came along. she decided that bub was a girl a few days before she died too (we hadnt found out on ultrasound and everyone had been leaning towards boy actually).
