What do you think is the best supermarket instant coffee?
I like the Robert Timms individual sachets, you brew them like a teabag. But they're quite pricey, and i'm not sure they're worth it taste wise.

im really liking nescafe gold dark roast atm
I like Riva (decaf) :)
I like Moccona coffee- the Espresso one (green label) is nice as is the gold label one.
Moccona here, it's not cheap, but as far as instant goes, it's pretty good. I try to get it on special, not sure how it compares pricewise to the Robert Timms ones.
The Robert Timms sachets are about $8 for 18 sachets. The best flabour is the expresso. But i go through a box a week at least so looking for a cheaper alternative.
luv the moccona. can buy there biggest jar of instant for $18-20 depending if on special or not and lasts a few good months!
has anyone tried that new coffee mixed with green tea?? whats it like?
I also drink several cups of green tea every day too. Would be easier to combine them LOL
maccona is the only instant I'll drink
DH and I love the Moccona Indulgence - it has a black label. Can be more $$ than some of the others but we usually stock up when it is on sale!
Definately Maccona
Moccona here too, or Nescafe Gold for a second choice. And for something different I quite like those nescafe flavoured coffee sachets.
Thats weird, the advert implies its green tea mixed with coffee, hence double the antioxidents?
Another question:
How much coffee do you put per boiling water? ie, teaspoon/tablespoon per say 100ml water etc?
I took it to mean that green coffee is supposed to have antioxidents too? Dunno...I wasn't paying that much attention. :p
I use 1 teaspoon per cup, so I guess that's about per 250ml? If i'm feeling particularly blurry, the coffee side of the ratio increases. :D
Im pretty sure its green coffee beans, coz the adds got 2 beans jumping around, one brown & one green.
Generally I have 1 teaspoon coffee to a cup, Im guessing around 200-250ml water
I thought all coffee beans were brown? i must pay more attention next time too!
I'm trying to make the perfect ration for iced coffee, this morning i tried:
1 tablespoon moccona
100 ml boiling water
200 ml milk
1 teaspoon sugar
3 ice cubes
Then shake in shaker
It was a bit too strong!
Does anyone have a better recipe?
