This is very embarrassing and maybe TMI but.....

Has anyone suffered from vulvodynia vestibulitis? and how did they cope with labour?

I have suffered this condition for about 7 years, pregnancy has definitley made it owrse, and now labour is worrying me a bit...

I had a look on diagnose me.com to find out what it was, and could you opt for a epidural so you can't feel it? What is your ob recommending for it? Does he want you to have a c/s? The site listed some foods to avoid to try to lessen the pain from it, but it may not help you now.

Rachael, It's a vulval neurological abnormality, and it makes lots of thing very very painful (use your imagination). It really impacts on your whole life.

Sheri, I have had it for years and tried many of the treatments, but gave up, now I just 'adapt and overcome' - and put up with it. Haven't talked to ob yet about it.
