Lolly Bags!
EEK my baby girl turns one next week and we are having a bit of a party combined with her dedication. I am not a great organiser! I only just remembered on the weekend to think about what we were all going to eat!!! Then my DH mentions lolly bags!!! I hadn't thought of those...so my question is what should I put in them? Most of the kids going are older than Em. Help please!

For the girls, we had Dora Loot boxes filled with girly accessories, small mixed bag of lollies, and a balloon.
For the boys, we had a Transformers loot bag with a matchbox car, small mixed bag of lollies and a balloon.

For DS first birthday as there were lots of kids of different ages I just gave each one a lollipop with a fancy balloon tied to it. Can get bulk bags of lollipops & got the animal shaped balloons from Woolies. Was good also as I'd heard another mother rant about always getting bags full of choc etc...so figured only one lolly & they can decide if they eat it or not.
For his second I again steered away from filling with lollies, I used little brown paper bags put in a spinning top or bouncy ball & decorated Plain biscuits with icing and lollies to look like a lion...as we had jungle theme...that was it.

There is a great post on bb about lolly bags. Go to Children's Parties & Cake Decorating, then there is a sticky there called 'Ideas for kids party "lolly" bags'. Tried linking it but it didn't work. It's a great thread.
