Braxton Hicks
Im almost 22wks with bubs #3 and for the last 4wks have been getting BH a fair bit which didnt bother me but as of yesterday they have been getting worse, getting around the 40 or even 50 a day. they arnt painful, feel the same as the last 2 preg but some of them do make me stop and breath through the tightness.
My Question is should i ask about them before my next doc app which is on monday or just wait.
I dont norammly worry but i just want to know if its normal to be getting them this often?

If you're at all worried, you should talk to your doctor before your appointment. Even if it's to put yourself at ease. I'm not sure about how many BH is normal; sorry. But every woman and pregnancy is different ~ so it could be completely normal for you.
Good Luck :D

If there is no pain or bleeding I would be inclined to wait until tomorrow unless its got you worried. If you are worried then call your Ob or MW and discuss with them. It could be very normal for you for this pregnancy.
best of luck

I always say follow your gut! I'd mention it at the doc and it might help to make a 2-3 day written record of when you have BH and what you've done before you had them. And maybe what you've had to eat and drink on those days too.

Back from the docs
ok so top part of my blood pressure is up, temp is a little higher then normal but not a temp everything else is clear BUT doc thinks it is my cervix softening with the fluid mucous, shes sent my urine away for testing to double check for infection. shes hoping its a infection and not pending labour. i have been put to bed rest (hahaha always laugh wen they say that!), if i get ANY pain at all im to go to the hospital, i have to check my temp every day and if its up get another wee test etc to see if theres some type of infection. Bad news is they have picked up again today and i have been taking it easy :( docs happy coz i have a middy app in 2wks and they can check my cervix then etc.
So basiclly if i do too much i can go into labour so need to take it easy, which sucks coz i already have been due to my leg. doc said she would be suprised to see me hit my due date this time which sucks too coz that means its too close to christmas :(

REST!!!!!!!!
And see if there is any pattern to the BH still.
As for having a Dec baby. My girl was born 14th Dec and for me i love it coz' all the cool new toys etc are out so she has such a nice variety of choices and gifts!!
But try aim for full term if babs' will let you.
If increased temp and Bp is due to an infection and it's still there in 2 weeks i'd prefer not to irritate the cervix or increase the chance of more infection by having an internal.
If there has been a prob with the cervix in the past you might wanna find out all your options as to what would be best.
But you decide,
If you feel it might be worth having an internal to know if anything is going on and maybe having a check could put your mind to rest then you can, choice is yours.
I did have a lady who had to have a stitch put in to help keep cervix closed for the pregnancy so you need to decide what would be best for you...
thanks for the update... keep us posted

Oh no!
Best you take it easier then! I hope everything goes well for you though, and that he stays in there as long as possible! But definitely try and rest as much as possible (even though it would be hard having two kids and rest at the same time) cause I didn't completely rest when I was told to and I went into pre-term labour a second time; so I payed a price for that one!
Good luck & keep us posted :) xx

I would even just make a call to your OB or MW, i am 26 weeks and last week i had my first BH's too, im getting them about 5-8 times a day and get tight in the chest too.. i find it particualry unpleasant, but im sure everyone is different. I called my MW and she said its all normal, so that rested my nerves.
