Quick croup question - Advice needed

DD2 had croup on Thursday night. Took her to the hossy and she was given steriods, predmix. Since then she has been really good, hardly seemed sick at all other than a runny nose.

Today she started seeming a bit off. Didn't eat lunch, which is really unlike her she's normally a big eater. She's been drooling heaps, like a tap and now she has a temp around 38.7 to 39.1.

Is it likely she is going to have another croup episode? Should I give her some of the predmix or wait and see how she goes? She is in bed at the moment and seems to be sleeping ok.

Any advice would be appreciated.

id wait to give it to her, let her sleep and see how she is if she wakes later :hug: hope shes ok

Thanks. She's so soundly asleep now I wouldn't want to wake her. I'll see what she's like when she wakes up.

Id' book into the Dr, as croup is meant to get better after day 3. Might be worth seeing if there's something else. When my DD had croup recently she also had middle ear infection. xo

Thanks Mumma2three, I took her to the Dr's cause she just wasn't getting better. Had a chest xray and it turns out that she has bronchiolitis. So hopefully we are over the worst of it now.
