Hi all you chefs out there. I have a recipe for cookies that requires maple syrup but i only have honey. Is this okay? is it one teaspoon for one teaspoon?
Also, is it safe to give DD the cookies if I use honey? She is 17mths.
THANKS!

If you're replacing maple flavoured syrup I don't imagine it'd be too different, but honey seems to me a bit sweeter than Canadian maple syrup.
Anyway, moral of my story is that if I wanted to be super accurate I'd be saying a generous teaspoon of maple syrup to a small teaspoon of honey would be how I'd work it.
Thanks for the tip Nelle!
