Horrible taste in mouth
I dont know if I am actualley pg, and a little in denial that I could actualley be (not in a bad way though) but I have this absolutley HORRID taste in my mouth, it is so gross I just want to cut my tongue out to make it go away.
Everything I drink tastes foul, espec tea and coffee, and I am having to guzzle down water to get it down, cos it just tastes so horrid.
Did anyone experience this in early pg, and was there anything you could do to make it go away?

I found sugar made it worse, and acidic foods eased it somewhat - I was gorging myself on cherry tomatoes at one point!!

Could be pg as I went off coffee with all my preg. Other thing could be low zinc levels in your body leaves a horrid metallic taste in your mouth, so I believe. Hope it's a preg for you!

Yes, I did in pregnancy. went right off refined sugars because that seemed to make it worse but went nuts on juice because that was one of the only drinks that tasted half decent!

I first thought I was pg when I had a glass of wine at a dinner party and couldn't take more than a couple of sips. It was awful!! But everyone else seemed to be enjoying it ok, so I figured it was just me  It went away after the first weeks - but then, I also didn't both drinking wine again either.
With my second, I couldn't face tea for the first 12 weeks or so. Which was so disappointing, because I love tea! Again, it went away after a while. With both pregnancies I couldn't face anything "fake" - cordial, sweetened juice, jellybabies - anything sweet which wasn't fruit or real fruitjuice.
Good luck! Hope this is a good sign for you.
