I would like opinions on whether people think my pick for our boy's name is too like our DD name.
DD first name is Caitlin and seriously considering Lachlan for our next baby. With all the 'L's I am worried they sound too similar.
Thanks.

I don't think they sound too similar, they both lovely names so I see why you like them so much!
I don't think that they are too similar - they are both great names.
I guess you could say the same for my littlies
Ashley and Ethan...they seem to flow and i wondered if they were similar in a way but i like the way they flow when people ask
I think caitlan and lachlan is the same.
nice
I think they are fine! I think a lot of people do that anyway - tend to choose names that have the same flow or similar sounds because that's what you like! I always seem to like names that end in the "ee" sound whether it be spelt ie, ee, ey etc.
Yeah, they're fine! Stop stressing!
they sound fine to me!!
both my girls names end in ie
I think it's fine!
My brothers name is Nathan, and mine is Teagan... so we both have the an going on... I've never really thought of it as being weird!
My cousins name is Lachlan too, so I love it hehe
I know a family with Caitlin, Hayden, Lachlan and Declan :)
You'll be fine :D
oops, double post!
I think it's fine - I personally love the names that flow :)
Thanks for everyone's opinions... Lachlan it will be.
I don't know about anyone else but I found boy names so hard to come up with. Lachlan is the only one that has stuck so I am very happy it doesn't sound strange with Caitlin.
Lachlan is a great name.. :D
