Night time bottle? What The?
OK so DD is 11mths and has been sick for a couple of weeks, bad cough etc etc wont make people read my whinge again.
Last night she woke just before 2 coughing as usual, she would fall asleep in my arms upright but the minute put her back in bed (raised) she would wake up sooking again.
Gave in after about 30min of this and put her in bed with us, she did nothing but toss and turn and sook the whole time, got up gave her some gel for her teeth and some nurofen (JIC), still wouldn't settle, i had tried giving her water but this didn't help either.
In the end i made her a bottle (she hasn't had night time bottles in over 6mths) and she gulped the whole thing then went off to sleep until after 7:30 this morn (had to wake her to go to an appt)... she has NEVER slept this late in ages she is always up b/w 6 and 7 and in our bed for cuddles with DP before work.
She is normally a great eater at night but has been a little fussy the last couple of nights, could this just be a phase or has her been coming into our bed that early been a sign maybe she has been getting hungry, i just took it as her wanting to be awake.
She has 3 meals a day and an afternoon snack, generally 2 naps a day and sometimes 2-3 bottles.
Lately it's only 2 as she has been dropping her lunchtime bottle.
her other 2 bottles are given before solids and i know i need to swap these around.
If i give her tea at say 6 and then a bottle at say 7 and in bed at 7:30 instead of bottle at 5:30 and tea at 6:30 do you think this would make a difference?
The only prob i have had is in the past she wont take a bottle after solids, even an our later.
Sorry if i have confused anyone, am not sure if it's a once off or if she has been getting hungry?
