ylang yland and orange... yummo!
Jeez you're getting cranking early, good on you! ;)
I will be burning (vapourising) essential oils that are known for their calming and soothing properties - such as lavender and rose. Some essential oils are even known to speed up labour (not safe during early preg) so I will be looking into those to!!
yum the ylang ylang and orange sounds nice :)
Im not a fan of lavender. yuk lol
Off to get some candle making supplies so i can make some of these in a candle
You won't be able to have a candle burning though - unless you are at home.
My advice - put the oils on as soon as you get there, or else it will be forgotten!
I liked the idea of essential oils in labour, but when it came to the crunch I didn't want any sound or smells... even the thought just annoyed me! So maybe take them along and then see how you feel at the time (it was lovely to have a tiny bit of lavender in carrier oil to rub down after my shower though).
I wanted Vanilla but the hospital wouldnt let me, you could only take in oils that were on the "safe list" there were only around 10 they would allow
