I'll have to have a read :)
My midwife told me yesterday that she had 3 sections herself, and then went on for a natural birth ;) There are inspirational stories out there!!!
where does she live? are you just on hols in tas or have you moved there? cause i thought you were birthing on the sunny coast. maybe your midwife can come and deliver my next baby??
Nah I've moved to Tassie mate.
I seriously recommend my OB for you though if you are willing to travel to the sunshine coast - she is sooooo supportive, and so is Selangor. I don't know what the support is like in Brisbane, but its so awesome on the sunny coast mate.
Mel can you PM me the OB you had at Selangor? My first training birth is aiming for a VBA2C and she's just discovered she can afford to go private at Selangor, so we want the right OB obviously for the best chance of achieving it...
Nah not going to PM - I love her so I'm more than happy to put her name out here. Dr Kirsten Small, Blackall Terrace, Nambour.
Thanks heaps :)
Hey Shades,
Does she have private health cover or is she paying outright? I'm curious as to how much it would cost, although the coast is a bit far from me.
I think she's paying outright... I'll try to find out when it's definite and stuff.
:) Thanks. Just curious that's all
