Snot rash?

Missy has a cold and has a lot of snot going on. The last couple of mornings I've had to bath her because she has spread it all over her face, eyebrows and hair :sick:

Her skin is very red and spotty where the snot was smeared (over cheeks & forehead but around her eye is the worst :( She does get a bit of eczema occasionally which I thought it was but now I'm not sure.

Is it possible the snot is causing this?

yep T was like taht for ages and L is the same too. wherever there is snot there is small red spots etc and somtiems loooks a bit swollen too. it goes down with a wash and a bit of heat rash powder casue i find that her temps go up and down somtimes. She also gets quite worked up and then once she calms down it lessens.

Thanks! Haven't noticed this with the boys before so was a bit concerned.

It's all around her eye though so I don't think I can risk putting anything on it. She sucks her thumb and her fingers end up curled around her nose and touch her eyelid so that's how it's end up spread around there. Very cute but not good as in this situation :(

yeah same with L, no idea why. hard to manage too. :(. i jsut try to wipe it when i can.
does she seem botherd by it?

My DS had got snot rash too at the moment. Ive been putting vaseline on the rash which really helps to clear it up.

yep DD gets this aswell

i use bepathen on it. helps ease it a bit. otherwise lots of wiping with damp face washer
