boys names opinions

okay, I was after some opinions on the following boys names, which do you prefer and which don't you like:

Samuel
Thomas
Lucas.

I prefer Lucas to the others because its less common :)

all are lovely, but I like Lucas the most

I like Lucas the best, although followed by a very close second place of Samuel. I'm not a fan of Thomas, but thats just my opinion and I think because I went to school with about 10 Thomas' and Tom's, so bit of an over kill on my behalf.

Lucas gets my vote too. Its funny how names are influenced by our past. I too dont like Thomas and Samuel because i knew guys with those names who werent pleasant, (my opinion only)

Im sure if I knew some nicer Thomas's and Samuel i would love those names too.

I like Samual the best. Thomas reminds me of trains (and my mum has a cousin in his 60's called Tommy - just always seemed a bit wrong to me, a bit like "johnnie"), Lucas is ok - but not my favourite

My nephew is a Lucas and i LOVE it!

Lucas is a very nice name. I have never liked the name Samual. Thomas is nice too, but we have a few Thomas' in our family. :)

I like Lucas too! I think Thomas is quite common, I know loooooads of Toms. And I personally am not a fan of Samuel, I just don't like the sound of the word.

I like them all. They're all going to get shortened too, so which do you prefer? Sam, Tom or Luke?

I am slightly prejudiced against Thomas, just because of some woman I heard one day in a restaurant saying "Tommy, sweetie, don't do that" in a distracted way, as her little precious was in the mist of tipping all sugar bowls over, while she continued a conversation and let her darling angel do whatever he wanted. But that's just me.

my DPs name is Samuel... i think its adorable! next little boy we have that will be his middle name. i think its a gentle little boys name :lol:

I like Lucas the best from you list but the other 2 are nice as well.

Lucas here too! Went to school with a sam, and he wasn't a nice boy. I like thomas as well, but not as much..

In order, Lucas, Samuel, Thomas. All lovely names!!
