Moogoo?

Which moogoo product do you use for nappy rash?

I've just discovered that my local Health Food Shop is stocking the products, but there's nothing that says 'nappy cream'! HELP!

Is it the 'skin soothing cream'? or the eczema balm? I'm a bit lost and would like to try it!

We use the "MSM Soothing Cream" on DD's butt! Also we have the full cream one. Yummmyyyyy

He's got a fair bit of dotting from teething wee there at the moment - so it will really put it to the test! :D

I think that's one of the advantages of MooGoo... you don't need a liner as it's not petroleum or zinc based.

I haven't been using a liner, and had no problems so far.

i've not used a liner and had no dramas

actually, i've used it all over E's legs as well as on her butt - dry skin on her feet went away in no time... i've even used it for tummy massage when i didn't have any massage oil with me! have used it on my own skin and it's not done damage to any clothes or anything - it rubs in really well....

E's NR cleared up within hours of putting moogoo on, and she's not had any since - i usually use moogoo every couple of days (if not every day for first nappy change) just to moisturise as she sleeps through and can have a rather wet first nappy that she is in for a while before she lets me know she's awake!

Fabulous girls thankyou!! The only problem we might have is that it had Almond Oil in it and I don't know if we will be able to use it at Daycare due to the nuts?!?!

Silly question from someone who hasn't had babies before...I want to use moo goo on my bub as chances are they will have not such great skin (both DH and I had eczema as kids) but we're thinking of doing 1/2 cloth and 1/2 disposible nappies...can you use Moo Goo with the disposible nappies?

I can't see a reason why you couldn;t use it with disposables. If you can use conventional nappy rash creams and zinc pastes, why not moogoo???

I am glad I came accross this thread. I was looking for a good barrier cream to clear up nappy rash that is ok with MCNs. I bought some MooGoo today and can't wait to try it out on DS. It has been a bit persistant and Bepanthen hasn't got rid of it (and I know I shouldn't use it on my nappies). Yay!
