Infertility Support Group in Canberra?

Hi everyone,
I have been a visitor to the forums for a while and it really helps to read other people's stories. I was wondering if anyone knew of an infertility support group in Canberra? I know none of my friends have had any issues at all, and while they all care very much, it's not the same as talking to someone who knows. I don't know if infertility is a dirty word on this forum (sorry if it is!) but sometimes I dont know what else to call it when I don't see any hope. I love the term "long term trying to concieve" but there are so many other issues with me I don't feel right using that one :redface:

I have been living in Canberra for just over 2 years now and TBH I really haven't investigated any support groups other than using BB, which I have relied on tremendously over the years.

However, I do understand that it is often helpful to speak to someone in person. Dusty, one of the mods, is also from around here. If you would like to meet up then just post a reply and we can try to arrange something.

That would be great! I have been thinking about whether to look into setting up a group myself, but I'm not sure what goes into that. BB has been fantastic, but meeting up would be good and maybe you guys might have some ideas too?

Are you north or south side of Canberra? I'm north side.

I remember there were some other ladies from the Canberra area who met a couple of times. I seem to recall there was a thread in the meetups area. I will check it out and see if I can find it and post something in there. It would be good if we could get a few ladies together, maybe in a week or so?
