the average is something like 16mths so some are before that time others are after, she will get there all in good time then you will wonder why you wanted her to walk so much as once they start they dont ever stop...
to answer your question
DS 10 mths
DD1 13mths
DD2 12mths
JEN!! TSK TSK!!! DO NOT COMPARE YOUR CHILD TO OTHERS!!!!!
Its not like she is behind in development ok? Maybe if she was 2 and not walking, yes, could very well indicate a problem.
DS didn't walk until he was 15.5 months. Miss M is 14 months now and will stand behind her walker and push it, and most of the time is ok to walk behind it, but in no way is she walking on her own.
Please do not stress about her not walking at the moment - in the grand old scheme of things it means nothing.

DS was around 13-14 months or so. Most of the kids at MG started around the same age, but there are two who are still not walking at 16 months and only kind of standing or pulling up, but not much. I think its all perfectly normal. There is a pretty big age range for starting to walk. I bet your lovely Jorja has been concentrating on other areas!
My DD is 16 months and she is yet to walk, she started to crawl, pull herself up and walk around furniture at 14 months, she still cannot stand alone.
I am not really concerned at this stage, I can see that she is getting closer to standing alone as she is standing holding on to furniture with one hand now where a month ago she needed two hands.
Aw shes not even one yet chicken! Give her time! Jazz started walking just before her first birthday, but like Tali said, the average is 16 months, and thats not a deadline either ;) thats just the median point!
Eta: sorry, I thought 14 months was a typo, either that or the date in your sig is a typo ;)
Either way, shes still going fine!
LOL DD1 did this too me, for a while I thought she might have been walking behind my back as everytime I looked at her she would plonk down again, it wasnt until I was at a MG and a GF was down stairs while I was making coffee, and she aked me how long DD1 had been walking for! I was like Ummm she isnt... my GF said well she was walking the whole time you were making your coffee, sure enough I came back and she sat down! That should have told me about the type of girl she was to become ;)
My ds was about 16 months :)
Mine walked earlyish, DD at 10mths and DS at 11mths. Don't worry about her not walking she is on her way to getting there. Enjoy it while it lasts, once it starts, you'll be chasing her like there's no tomorrow!! My friends DS didn't walk til 18mths. She's doing fine!
My first son walked at 12mths, DS#2 was 2yrs, DD#3 14mths and DD#4 22mths. I have two early and two late ones :D. Kids really do develop at different stages, mine are proof of that.
Regards,
Dianne
DD started somewhere between 16 and 17 months..
She would walk holding onto things (Except people) and one day mum and I sat down with our feet touching and DD thought is was a great game to walk backwards and forwards between us (about 4 steps).. The reward, a huge cuddle at each end..
DS is 15 months and not walking yet. He pulls up to a stand and will occasionally move feet prefers to crawl instead (comando at that)
B has just started walking long distance's being about 10steps before falling over getting back up and trying again and she is 11mths 1wk!
like everyone says every baby is different! i would enjoy it while ur bubba isnt walking - sometimes i wish B wasnt even crawling - she is growing up so fast!
Sounds like she's doing fine. It's all good.
Try not to worry.

Ds1 walked at 12.5 mnths
Ds2 walked at 18 mnths
Ds3 walked at 13 mnths
DD1 walked at 13 mnths
I know they can wait to start walking till 18 months or so. We took Ds2 to the Drs as he had health issues at birth so we were concerned as to why he wasn't walking but they said he was fine (after a physio test) and he started walking a couple weeks later
DD was 17.5 months before she walked by herself. When she did she was very steady and could walk across the room.
It was so much easier than having a really wobbly younger baby tottering around.
Munchie was walking at 9 months, but I've heard that's quite unusual. My friend's son, who is 8 weeks older than Munchie, has only recently got the hang of walking. Don't compare your bub to others, hun, you'll just send yourself round the bend with worry!! My girls are quite forward and I'm always being told I must be doing something wrong or 'forcing' them somehow - not true... sounds to me like your little one is coming along at her own little pace and is absolutely fine and dandy :) Enjoy this pre-walking period, once they're up and mobile independently you have a WHOLE new set of problems to deal with!! :D
