Yup i noticed.. went and bought ALDI.. no more leaking for my little one!!
Yeah I agree, not so flash. But I've been using them and them alone for so long now that I'm reluctant to make a change! So I will probably just grumble about it to myself and do nothing hahaha.
Not only that, but they stink of chemicals even more now.
Won't buy huggies anymore as they do leak. Give me ALDI, Safeway or Coles.
It just goes to show that the most expensive items are not always the best. :)
I have had no issues with the new huggies.
yup, had quite a few wee wee leaks here. I am really disappointed with them and don't understand why they had to go and change them in the first place
I only use them of a night as in mostly cloth now but the chemical stench is awful, the old style plastic smell was bad enough! Think it's time I research a night nappy. The old huggies have never been able to contain my lil one's poo regardless so that isn't any different. NOTHING stops my lil one's poo because they just explode everywhere!
Me too. I was a massive huggies fan and nothing else worked as well for Livvy. Now I'm going to try some other brands for Will and Liv (but hopefully not for long, come on TT). I don't know why they felt they needed to change them. The old models were much better.
I brought huggies as a once off a few weeks ago and boy have they gone down hill!! I used to think they were on par with the Aldi nappies, but not any more, I think Aldi have it all over huggies now! Give me babylove or aldi over huggies anyday.....
i like the new design, never had a problem.
thanks to the new Huggies I have cloth full time
I don't know what they have done but Lachlan gets a rash on his side where they do up
So we now use cloth at night too
Yes, Tom has wee leaks now when the nappy isn't even full, which never ever used to happen with Huggies. And their wipes are crap now, too. I've just stopped buying those altogether.
I don't know what it is but every time Huggies change their design there is a new thread about how they don't work anymore LOL.
I've seen about 3 or 4 changes now since I started using them and truthfully I've not ever had any real problems - usually they just need to be fasted slightly differently or positioned a bit differently over the hips. One time I found that I just had to do them up a bit more tightly than the previous version, the new shape just seemed to be a bit bigger.
I've tried so many brands of nappies and always come back to Huggies. They are the only ones I trust to hold up no matter what.
I used to live near a Coles that stocked Pampers which I adored, even more than Huggies, but I have now moved, alas.
I bought some Huggies as a one off last week, and wasn't too impressed, mostly with the chemical smell, YUCK. We've been using Aldi for ages now, and I think they're heaps better. For my DS anyway ;)
