So...was it the necklace??

Took my babies out to mum & dad's to stay tonight, laid down to settle DS, gave him some boo. All was good.

Then he started asking for mum & dad's bed. Mum took him up & laid with him & in 10 minutes he was snoring! What the!! No boo, no sooking, no tossing & turning, just dozed off!!

We did have a chat about how he was staying at nanny & poppy's house while I go get daddy & at first he wasn't too pleased. Everytime I said I'd be going home he stated quite clearly, NO! He ain't silly!

So we agreed that he'd look after poppy's motor bikes & fix them while I went & got daddy, lol. He reluctantly agreed.

Then did that! Ditched me! All my worrying about him not sleeping & not settling calmed down for a whole 10 minutes (they are staying tomorrow night too & I'll be 8 hours away).

I'm wondering...his teething necklace turned up today & I snuck it on about an hour before this happened. Coincidence? Or magical powers!?!

What ever it was that necklace is staying put!!!

It always have me stunned how my kids can be terrors when I'm trying to get them to sleep, but when my mom or dad does it ... little angels.

Well, that does not matter. You can have peace of heart that they are happy and content :)

Thankyou :) At least they are sleeping. Me on the other hand....

I've washed & dried my clothes, redone my ranger head. Everything but slept. Got a whole hour so far. Sposed to be up & getting ready in an hour :rolleyes: Not liking this empty nester thing that seems to be happening.

Oh well, will go wash the redness outta my hair & try again. Good thing about not having the kiddies is that I can stop & sleep whenever I need too. With the whole back seat!! Lol!

Pitty this lack of sleep hasn't got me folding... Could be helpful... suddenly just a little bit more sleepy ;)

Got home last night. He went good! Was awake 2 hours the first night, but only grizzled twice & went back to sleep the second night.
Left the necklace out at mum's though. Will be going to get it back today!

I stopped at a place called Crystal Kingdom. They wanted $70 for a baltic amber necklace!!

Oh i know! Coincidence or not... we did NCSS and got the amber necklace a few weeks later and WOW we won't be going back on either thing. I'm too scared to stop one and see whats actually working!!!

Oh, and I found on the nappy hunt that Sunshine 'N' Lollipops have baltic amber necklaces at a lower price!
