Do you show off your bump, or hide it? How does this compare to what you do when you are not pregnant?
I'm not sure what to wear. I usually go baggy rather than tight stuff, but my usual clothes are getting tight. I don't want to just look fat, but am finding to hard to choose clothes that i know will show my bump. I think i am going to struggle bit with getting bigger.

i like nice soft fitting things when pg, you don't want things too baggy or they look a little daggy iykwim? i wore heaps of comfy brands like Wyse and Metallicus. leggings with a babydoll type top or even a couple of hippy skirts from Tree of Life with singlets look great too and more importantly feel comfy.
hi, first congrats on you pregnancy. i was always really conciouse of my figure before i got pregnant, then around the time you are now, when i could see i was getting a baby bump but to the normal person i just looked like id put on a few kgs i just stopped caring, i worn tight tops and loved my belly, thankfull it wasnt too long till i actually started to look pregnant not just fat :) , i LOVED my belly and worn things that hugged it!! id never felt so comfortable with my body! if i wore a loose top, especially towards the end i would tie a belt under my belly to show it off still!! I still feel a little more confident about my body now! :) good luck with everything.
I have bought some great shelf bra long tank tops from target in the normal section (They are soo stretchy) and have been layering with a drapey open shirt/top/cardi look over the top. that way I can show off my hard sought after bump but not look too trashy like I think some people can tend to go.
Fitted for me! I loved showing off my bump, and I was so proud of my preggie body : )
I found wearing baggy clothes made me look and feel fat, not pregnant!
I always wore thing that showed off my bump, you only have such a short time to show it off so why not... but whenever I was just at home I would be a dag in BHL clothes :D
Congragulations on your pregnancy babe, I say wear what you feel good in and whats comftable . but I always wore things that showed off my belly, well you couldnt really hide it anyway lol but i use to wear lots of flowy dresses and long hippy skirts with a singlets etc

Definitely show off my bump :) Although I do have some looser fitting clothes which still sit nice and close over my belly. When I'm not pregnant, I like to wear those flowy babydoll style tops to hide my post baby jelly belly :) lol
I find most tops are quite easy to find, even just the Miss Shop ones from Myer do the trick as they are stretchy. Jeans and pants are the ones to go all out on. I swear a good pair of maternity jeans is soooo comfy than trying to squeeze into your ordinary pair.
I wore more baggy clothes when pregnant with DS but with DD i was wearing more stretch fitted.. I felt a lot more attractive and better about myself.
Soon maternity have some really nice things!! In beautiful comfy fabrics.
I tend to go tighter on top and loose on the bottom.
I am a classic pear shape so I am smaller on top to begin with.
I second the layering, I pretty much always have a singlet underneath that way I can wear my normal clothes and have a bit more length.
A really good investment is a belly band, those things are worth their weight in gold. I feel so much better knowing that if my top rides up I have that coverage.

It's funny, with my first preg I was a bit paranoid about my shape and always uncomfortable in everything. I tended to go for much looser stuff. More practical and comfortable stuff. With the little guy, I dunno it was like I was finally comfortable in my skin and felt like I could wear stuff that was fitted. Though it was a thousand degrees at the end of his preg, so looser stuff was more comfy at home, I wore non maternity tops the whole way through.
Fitted all the way here! I managed to stay in size 10 jeans all the way through my first pg, and size 12 through the second one (I hadn't lost the baby weight from #1 before we got #2 on board) and would just team them with Supre singlets (with tees over the top, the singlet was more to cover the bump because all my tees kept riding up) or babydoll tops etc. If you're more of a pear shape (I'm a triangle, which is AWFUL) then maybe try peasant skirts/boyfriend jeans paired with more fitted tops to show off the bump? I always found that wearing baggy stuff all over just made me look ridiculously fat and not pregnant.
I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVED showing off my belly but didn't like feeling restricted so I wore a lot of maxi dresses with a touch of stretch in them so they draped nice. They'd skim my belly nicely and I didn't have to worry about upsizing clothes as my bump grew. I still wear the dresses now too as they aren't actually maternity wear and are very comfortable.
I also managed to stay a size 12 in pants so mine fit fine
Oh another item of maternity clothing I live in is my "fisherman" pants. They are 3/4 pants with an adjustable waist. They're adjustable by some velcro so you can wear them throughout the whole pregnancy and beyond...soooo comfy. I second the belly bands as well.
