Birth Choices Rally In Bunbury

To all the women in the South West

Birth choices is organising a birth choice rally to increase birthing choices and pregnancy care options in the south west. We would like to get a birth centre (promised to us 10 yrs ago), a government funded homebirth program and known midwife programs. We need as many pregnant women, mothers, child and grandparents as we cen get to demonstrate that there is a demand for these things. The rally will be on 21st Oct starting at 12pm at the Bunbury war memorial near the library and we will walk down to the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre where the Legislative Assembly will be sitting. We need to pressure on the government just like SW women did when the wanted to have water birth- which I am please to say the guideline have been sanctioned so hopefully the maternity units implement it.
