Is it okay to eat sushi every day?
...to eat sushi nori every day?
I'm OBSESSED. A new sushi place opened up down the road a few months ago and since I'm desperately trying to find yummy ways to starve myself (sensibly, of course! I just need to lose a few excess kilos!), I've been going there every chance I get to sample their delicious wares.
DH reminded me that we're meant to be saving money instead of eating it, so I picked up a sushi kit from Woolworths the other day and have been experimenting with making it at home.
But, the way I've done it, I've got a huge bowl of rice in the fridge and just make up one roll at a time with whatever toppings I like (avocado, fresh salmon, smoked salmon, smoked trout, carrot, bean sprouts, whatever other vegies I have handy, and BUCKETLOADS of wasabi and soy sauce), but I'm wondering if there's such a thing as 'too much' when it comes to sushi?
Not all of them have fish, if I'm peckish I just plop some rice and wasabi in the middle and nom nom nom, but I'm worried I might be eating too much seaweed? Can anybody help me out on this one lol?? I just had some for 'morning tea' and chances are I'll have another one later in the day...
