My biggest battle is with my thighs and now I have added a muffin top to the equation as well. Is your body type like mine? How best do you shift it? Thanks

Best way to instantly get rid of a muffin top is to wear pants that fit! I see so many people and I want to say to them "Just because you can do them up doesn't mean you should wear them!"
I have enormous thighs, and they're not going anywhere. Cycling only makes them bigger, and I'm not going to give that up any time soon. I've been told running and squats and lunges, none if which I find easy to build into my routine yet. So I just wear skirts and dresses and outfits that draw more attention to my top half than my bottom. High heels help with this, and anything with big shoulders but a small waist.
To just shift some weight in general, all the usual stuff applies. Eat better, work out harder. Build exercise into your daily life, walking etc, and just keep ramping it up every time you hit a plateau. Check out the Diet & Weight Loss support threads, there's lots of good ideas in there.
Buy bigger jeans & learn to love the higher-waisted pant LOL.
No matter how much weight I lose, the thighs are the last to go -because biologically that's the appropriate place to carry it (it's healthier to have fat there than on your tum). So like snugglybean I think it's about learning to dress in such a way as to flatter your curves and then loving yourself just the way you are. :)
Unfortunatly you can't spot reduce so the best thing is just to lose weight gradually and eventually it will come off your thighs. Cardio and some weight training and a health, balanced diet.
It's nothing new and it does work. It takes time but if you lose it slowly it's more likely to stay off and won't stuff up your metabolism HTH :)
I still have a touch of baby belly but i LOOOOOVE my larger thighs. could be less dimply though. I my thighs were any smaller i'd look ill because I'm 175cm tall.
Sorry, went off track. There is nothing with slightly larger proportions but they look better with a little tone on them (*sulks at the muscle decrease in my legs*). I'm sure if you started walking or something you'd feel better about them.
Touche! Even a slender person can have a muffin top.. it's all to do mostly with how your clothes are fitting.
I LOVE the figure of that shot of the add for Beauty and the Geek? Of the chick in the bikini... I mean she's by no means "fat" but she has meat on her and legs I would *die* for.:
