Peter Morrissey @ Big W?

Whaddaya reckon? The collection was released today, I popped by Big W on my way to do the grocery shop to check it out.
Personally... yeah, cute dresses, but I was expecting a few more styles, kwim? There were only four or five dresses at my local store, is it like that everywhere or are we just getting gypped again for living in a small town?
Would you guys pay $80 for a dress from Big W? For instance, I used to shop at Target all the time but now they're charging $50 a pop for a dress and I'm like, 'Oh hell no, this is Tar-jaaay!' (even though the dresses are really cute, I'm a cheapskate!). Or, is it okay to spend $80 at Big W because after all, it *is* designed by a relatively prestigious designer?

I went dress shopping yesterday and loved the PM dress's but I bought a target one as it wanted something a little more casual. but the black and blue ones fit sooo nice! i was in Melbourne and yup same 5 styles or so.

I saw the catalogue the other day, havent actually gone and looked yet, but the blue flowy one looked nice, but like you said I dont think I could bring myself to pay that much for something from BIg W!!
I would rather buy a $50 DRESS from Target. I find Target stuff to be better quality for the price.
(I couldn't bring myself to spend more than that on ANY dress :p but I am a notorious cheapskate!)

I brought the black one which is the same style as the blue.. didnt try it on in the store as I was in a hurry (only popped in to get some formula). When I got it home I tried it on, the fit is ok but def not worth $80 (the fabric feels really cheap) so I am taking it back today.

jng ... Wow, you read my mind as the first thing i thought when i saw Morrissey's dresses in the BigW catolgue was ' is he using cheap quality fabric ' like a lot of the BigW clothing there & just putting his stamp of name on it to up the price (??) to make a quick buck$ :rolleyes:
