Ttc for 6 mths lost my lil man 20 mths ago at 18 hrs old

I have been trying to conceive for the last 6 mths.. I gave birth to my lil boy dylan 20 mths ago and he was born at 25 weeks weighing 1lb 2ozs, ever since i gave birth to him my periods have been heavy and not how they was i have been for tests for endo and they say i have not got any.. I have only been trying to conceive for the last 6 months but i have not used contraception since i lost him yet nothing has happened.. I am really worried that i am unable to conceive and this scares me as i would really like another child not to replace my lil man as no child ever could but i feel lost without a babe in arms and now i have come to terms with losing my boy i feel the time is right but nothing is happening and with the problems im having with my cycle which are 28 days regular just very heavy and im Ov around days 17 to 19.. as anyone else had the same experience of their cycles change majorly after birth and finding it hard to conceive...

There will be some wonderful ladies along soon, I'm sure, to offer you some advice...unfortunately I don't have anything constructive to say in that respect, but just wanted to welcome you, but also say I'm so sorry for the loss of your little one x :hug:

I am sorry my love I only just saw this thread. I am very sad to read of the loss of your son - you have been through such a painful & heartwrenching time... :comfort:

It is not unusual at all for things to be out of whack post birth. However if things soon don't get on track I would consult with your obstetrician just to check things out.

I understand well the need to fill your empty arms. I hope that soon you are blessed with your forever baby... :hug:

I am so sorry for the loss of Dylan :hug: It took me 10 months to conceive our son after our first daughter was stillborn at 25w3d. It had taken 3 years to conceive her.

I actually had acupuncture for cycle regulation and ovulation stimulation after Caitlyn (as well as balancing me and for painful periods) which helped immensely. DD2 was a natural conception 10 months after DS.

thank you all for your replies, been to see the gynacologist for my appointment after laproscopy and they have now told me that my one tube is blocked and the other is damaged and i have a low chance of conceiving naturally, but im confused because just after i had the op b4 i left the hospital they told me one of my tubes was a lil puckered at the end and they did not know whether that would affect my fertility..it was a completely different diagnosis..they said it was probably the surgery that i had after i gave birth to my lil man that caused it as i had retained placenta due to having no waters for 5 weeks..i am completely gutted but no matter wat i would not change a thing there was no way i could of terminated his pregnancy he deserved a chance, i just think i am being punished for what i dont know..still every month i hope a miracle will happen..good luck to you all x x x

big hugs hun, i lost my little boy at 25 weeks too 3 hours after his birth. I hope your miriacle does happen I have a friend who had to have 1 tube removed and the drs told her that the other was damaged and she would never conceive naturally she has had 2 healthy children since then too so i hope this is another case like that. I had a stillborn boy "Tre" at 36 weeks and i bled for 10 weeks this is 4 months ago and my periods a non exsistent still... i did bleed for 2.5 days approx a month ago but not sure if it was a period. I know exactly how you are feeling and it is horrible, you won't replace you little man but i think getting pregnant could be nothing but positive for yours and in my situation life. best of luckxo

hun my hopes of having another are not there no more and im heartbroken in all honestly..i know i should be grateful for the children i have but every morning bout 10 times a day and every nite i relive my lil mans last 20 mins in my arms while he was dying..i am a mum wiv no babes in arms my youngest is 4 n half n i treat him like cotton wool he was my youngest the one who needed me more n i turned to him n now i realise he needs to grow up n im gonna be left with lil boys not any toddler..wha i am trying to say is i should have a baby n i am a mum wiv no babe in arms n i know i never will again av a child i luv all my children just feel like a big chunk of my heart is missing..tha will never be replaced by ne baby but im so yearning for another....im outta words n emotions i feel dead keep trying to pick myself up n fall flat on my nose...but i wud not change a thing my baby boy deserved a chance of life no matter how slim a chance..n i had him for 18 hrs n tha im grateful for x x
