I love my DD sooooo much....

Even when she cried for hours on end in the beginning, although I am glad she has become more comfortable and relaxed in this world that she doesn't cry for that long anymore. I feel such a great bond with her and I think it's because I had such a crappy labour that ended in c-section (actually the c-section was the best part- 2 minutes, she was out ! :lol:)that I immediately felt like a wave of nurture come over me and I had to hold her and take care of her !

Watching her sleep in my arms, somewhat sleep deprived ( me, not her ! :lol:) I never imagined I could have such a strong bond as I am experiencing.

I love this as well!! I NEVER imagined I could love someone soooo much either, it's unbelieveably fantastic isn't it :) Thought I loved DP heaps but my DD takes the cake....just don't tell him (although I secretly think he feels the same! :lol:) Can't wait for the 'I love you' from her....a friend said she melted when her DD said it.

:dance: Its great isnt it!? At the moment I am enjoying being attacked by DS with huge, sloppy open mouthed kisses, and his general cuddliness.:D

I wonder for how many of us the 'love blast' didn't hit immediately? I felt very protective of my DD from the start but to be honest it wasn't til she was about 6 weeks old that I really felt 'in love' with her.

Awwww, This thread makes me tear up.

Many times (usually during the need when rocking back to sleep after a feed) I have got a bit teary just looking at my DS as I am so overwhelmed with love - isn't it just the best?

I loved DD from the day she was born but the love has definitely grown soo soo much that my heart just fills with this somethingness (perhaps overwhelming love) when i think about her.

I remember i use to miss her when she slept too much and would wish she would wake up and smile at me but then of course once she woke up i would wish she went back so sleep! LOL

Being a mum is definitely the best thing in the world nothing could replace it.

My world would never be complete without DD!!!! Oh man...getting all overwhelmed with love again ehheeh

Its sooooo worthwhile when you reach that point isnt it ?? i can remember with all my babies having that time, that moment, that day where you just fall in love with them and you could just gobble them all up.....:rolleyes:.
