Sympathy Sickness.. old wives tale??
Hi all, So as you can proberbly guess from the title, my DH seams to be getting morning sickness. Well, thats how it saems to me anyway.
On Monday morning he gave me a really worried look then made a mad dash for the loo, to have quite a bad spew (sorry TMI) Anyway, I told him he should stay home and go see the doc cause he had absolutely no colour in his face and sweating profusely. He just said, No, I'm usually right in an hour or 2. :o What?? He said this had been going on for about the last month / month and a half (about since mine stopped) and usually about the same time every day but doesn't last long and then he's right again for the rest of the day. He was running late on monday so I hadn't known before now. DS then piped up and said yeah, we usually stop on the motorway so he can have a hack. He's had to leave a little bit later each morning since and yep, sick every morning then ok again.
So, Is it even possible to have sympathy sickness? I honestly thought it was just one of those old wives tales. I know this is his 1st baby and wants to be involved but Geeze, this is going a bit far isn't it??
This morning I took in some dry crackers/bikkies and a cup of tea for him, (he's always had a cup of tea in the morning) but he took 1 look at the tea and B-lined it for the loo! Says just the thought of having a cup of tea makes him sick lately.
What do I do? I feel so bad for him!
