Cramps and pain mid-cycle??
My stupid body is being stupid again :wall:
For the past 6 months, since I got my period back after it went MIA at the beginning of the year (I had three cycles then it went away for almost 5 months), my cycles have been so weird (for me).
I get my period, bleed for 7 days straight (heavy for 5-6 days), I get little niggly cramps but nothing really compared to what I used to get pre-pregnancy. Then around day 10-12 (so 3-5 days after my period stops) I start getting cramps. At first I thought they might have been ovulation cramps, but they are as fierce as period pain, and they last for about 7-10 days. Then its all clear sailing until my period starts at about
That by itself was annoying but managable, but the past 2 months I've also been getting a really achey pain (TMI TMI TMI) low in my abdomin, and down into my vagina and bowels. A bit like really bad wind pain or constipation. I don't have any wind or constipation problems, but I am really bloated, and it does HURT (A LOT!) if I need to pass wind. It also turns into a searing hot pain throughout that whole lower abdomin area if I sit the wrong way, or twist the wrong way, or move too fast the wrong way... :(
I'm heading to the dr on Thursday, but just wanted to know if others have gone through something similar? What should I be asking for at the drs? I do have PCOS, but I've never had this happen before... do I need another ultrasound? I don't have a history of endometriosis, and there was none present at a lap I had in May 2007. Can it just pop up after having a baby??
