Toilet Training - is she ready?

Miss B is now trying to take her nappies off - and sometimes when she has done a poo - she comes up to us and says "poo" or she will pull at us and when we ask if she needs her bum changed she starts heading to her bedroom to get it changed!
Is this a sign that she maybe ready for toilet training?
If so where do we start?????

Well, I've never toilet trained anyone, so I don't actually know how you go about it, but maybe just let her run around without a nappy and introduce her to the potty. Talk to her when you're on the toilet and say she can use the potty the same way. Can also put her poos in the potty, then into the toilet, so she gets the idea.

we have sat her on the potty a few times and she has Pee'd a couple fo times - fluke i think!
Didn't think of putting her #2's in the potty - sounds ewww but can see how that might work!
She hates the toilet have tried sitting her on it but nope not a good idea!!!

I know with my DS we have just been letting him have free bum time, and I tell him to tell me when he needs to do a wee. He doesn't really come to me and ask to go to the toilet, but I am constantly asking him. He's not ready for #2's on the toilet yet, coz if I leave his nappy off around the time he usually does his daily poo, he just doesn't do one....he'll sit on the toilet and fluff, but that's about it.

I have no idea whether I'm doing it 'right' or not, but just try anything. Maybe focus on wee's first, then two-ies! Just roll with it. She obviously doesn't like the feeling of a steamer in her pants!!!!! :)

Introducing her to the potty for "fun" I think is a good idea - just make it like a game, and if she does something on it throw a big party! :lol:
When I TT'd DD#1 I used the potty trainer dot com and it worked for us - she was fully day trained within weeks of her second birthday. They do have tips on early training so maybe check it out.
You could also try EC?? Sites like tribal baby are helpful.
