Eye Colour
So, can I presume that now we are in week 12 and his eyes are still very blue, that they will remain that way?
His father, brother and I all have brown eyes. There is a 1 in 4 chance he would have blue eyes.
I hope he keeps them, I like them - something different in the family.

DS's pead said it can take up to 12 months to change. My DH was born with blue eyes that changed to brown just before 12 months apparently.
-
I think eyes can change colour up to 2 years of age - I am the same as I have a brown eyed girl and a blue eyed bub. I really want DD2's eyes to stay blue!
-
My girls were born blue...and remained blue
-
Both my boys have blue eyes but they are more slate blue that bright blue. Take after their father.
I was told that they would change by the end of the first year if they were going to.
-
Charlotte was born with blue eyes, then around 4 months they went to green, then by 12 months they were hazel.
Now at almost 2 they are as dark brown as her fathers! lol

LimeSlice - that's what happened to my first son. But, this time DS2's eyes are REALLY blue.
I hope they stay blue, I just love them!

DS was born with that really dark blue colour - and have slowly changed and are currently a colour I struggle to describe. They're definitely not blue - sort of brown, but not an obvious brown - you really have to look at his eyes to see that they're brown. The colour is actually like my eyes if you took away the green tinges.

I have been wondering this myself - DS's eyes turned blueish grey when he was quite young and they were always the same colour as mine, but a couple of months ago just after he turned two they started getting lighter. They are now a very pale grey with a hint of green. Not sure if they are going to keep changing or stay like that.
