Hi
Has any-one ever heard of poor blood flow to the uterus being an issue?
I have a combination of subfertility (takes me over a year to conceive) and miscarriage.
Unexplained TTC 3 years.
It's something that im wondering about.
I know one of my miscarriages was genetically normal also I get a lot of pain 9 days before my period.
Any ideas would be appreciated!

I'm not entirely sure that Western medicine believes poor circulation can contribute to miscarriages, but I do know that the woman I saw for acupuncture throughout my time doing IVF was always doing things to boost my circulation, especially blood circulation to the reproductive organs.
I had three miscarriages, and then we included aspirin in what I took with my last IVF cycle and that one resulted in my live baby. I'd been tested extensively for causes of miscarriage and got a borderline result on one of the blood-clotting disorders (lupus anticoagulants). Western medicine did not believe it to be a problem, but my AP lady viewed my body system as a whole and said that with my severe rheumatoid arthritis, severe PCOS, other possible auto-immune problems, there was just too much for my body to handle and a level that would be ok in a healthy person is not necessarily ok for me. When we treated it (against the advice of my doctor, I will add, not something I would suggest without careful thought) the embryo stuck. DH commented that my feet were actually warm while I was taking aspirin - something that never happens.
Not sure if I've answered your question at all, but that's my thoughts and theories on the matter... I suspect Western medicine says no, but Eastern medicine tends to look at the system as a whole and tends to say yes.
