Has anyone used either of these as a night nappy with extra boosters? How did it go? Do you find they leak or should I look at something else?? I have heaps of these particular brands and was using disp. at night but want to start using cloth at night too.
Personally I don't use anything with PUL in it at night - so no I haven't tried the options you are thinking of. I like to ensure as much breathability as possible.
We use Maz-a-licious, sandmans (from sustainable hemp products) and wild chld dreamy night nappies.
All great - but if I were to need more I would go with MAL or sandmans.
it depends how much she wets. my ds can wear an ib overnight with no extra boosters.
we use cushie tushies couture and greenkids as our night nappies here. we used to have night nappies but he woke up wet and sulky in them and doesnt need them for absorbancy.
Ittis have a low rise, so I wouldn't have thought they'd be good as a night nappy? You want high rise for keeping everything in :)
Blueberrys are the Swaddlebees fitted pocket, right? I have one, nice trim fit for a pocket, but I wouldn't use it overnight as my super-wetter would out-wee it half-way through (I stuff an extra Mandy Mac hemp booster in my Blueberry for day use if I want to get more than an hour - she just wees a lot!) ...but if your bub doesn't wee lots overnight you might be ok. You'd definitely need a bamboo or hemp extra booster though, enough microfibre to last the night would be very bulky I imagine.
If you want the convenience of an AIO/2, Genesa Forge are both absorbent and trim. If you want to make absolutely sure there are no leaks, you are probably best off with a fitted night nappy and wool shorties/longies as then the wool absorbs any leaks.
I used ittis occasionally when Ash was little, he wets WAY to much now for that. BB were good too, I had the pockets and you can stuff them with as much as you need.
the best NN I have tried would have to be the genesa forge super super trim nights. LOVE it! Still have to send it back to nikki as it was a trial nappy for Ash, we have the normal super super nights which are awesome but the trim is fab!! I'll be getting some when I have the spare cash :)
Also minky magicalls, loved them, pocket means you can stuff heaps in and I found the minky ones didn't leak at all even though Ash is a super heavy wetter.
