toast?

what age can you give vegemite on toast and other finger foods?

Diff for each baby. DS#1 was around 10 months but I think it was my courage or rather lack of that made it so long and drawn out! DS#2 was a bit younger as he chewed food much better. Trial and error really. Sometimes a week makes a diff!

I used to cut up little 1cm squares for my kids rather than a finger of toast...my way that is all.

Hollo, we have been doing BLS with DS so he's been eating toast for a few weeks (he's just over 7 months now). I usually spread either avocado, banana or vegemite on a slice and cut it into soldiers. He loves it. He chews and sucks on it until it falls apart and in these few weeks has managed to work his way up to eating almost the whole slice.
He's been eating all fingers foods for a month now and it's amazing to watch him develop and learn to love his food and feeding himself.
