How long for HcG results to come back?

I know every place is prob different, but I was hoping to get some info on when I might be able to get my HcG results back?

I had the BT done this morn at 10am at my GP's office. The receptionist had no idea when they'd be back. When I told her what it was for, she seemed to agree with me that it shouldnt take long. But said to call on Monday morning for them..

I'm VERY impatient and I was hoping to find out today!! Mainly coz I've had 2 chemical pg's in our 5months of TTC..

Do you think there's a chance I could get my results today? Maybe if I call GP back at 5pm?

I'm pretty sure I got the results on the same day with DD - but I went to pathology at 8:20am that time...

Mine usually came back the next day.

I live in country victoria and can get blood test results for bhcg after 3 hours. It shouldnt take all day.

I just decided to call Pathology and see what they said - I told them that the receptionist had no idea about the results

Pathology said they should be available later this arvo! :)
So I'll call my GP back maybe 4pm...

Yep, pathology should have them today...

maybe even call the doc by 3.30, in case they need to chase them up for you..... :p

I get mine back after an hour and a half or so. Usually by the time I've got to work from hospy, they are through.

I got mine back the same day, but I had to have them taken early in the morning, I think 7.30am or something. It wouldn't hurt to ring them anyway.

yep! The receptionist called me back just before 5pm!

HcG was 202. For 4wks2days. So I think thats pretty good...
