I tried, all with varying degrees of effectiveness!
*eating a green apple (or part of one) before getting out of bed
* gingernut biscuits (ginger by itself, like the crystallised ginger, is also supposed to be good, but I hate the taste of it!)
* iceblock for breakfast (not very healthy I know but *TMI* easier to throw up than normal breakfast foods! LOL)
* eating as soon as I got out of bed, or just before I got out (sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't)
* waiting a little while before eating, and just having half an arrowroot bikkie
There were probably some other things I tried, but it seems so long ago now I can't remember! Lol
Hope it goes away for you quickly, I know that for me every day was different, sometimes I was sick, sometimes not, sometimes I would just feel awful!
I heard sickness travelling bands are good. Get the proper brand not the cheaper one
will be getting some myself i guess LOL
HTH
i have tried ginger- its horrible!
might try the bands- thanks
Hi Duck, I am due on the 5th of July and having bad morning sickness as well, actually I should say bad night sickness I am fine in the morning but quesy all day then sick at night.
In my previous pregnancy I tried everything and nothing worked, this time the same, I have gone to the doctor and he has prescribed me Maxalon which is safe to take during pregnancy, it doesnt stop nausea alltogether but stops me vomiting and really takes the edge off nausea.
Good luck I hope you find something that works.
You poor thing, its the worst feeling MS.
Dry biscuits or toast with nothing on it.
Little sips of water.. noting acidic like juice or fruit.
I had to lie down and try not to move urgh, horrible!
If all else fails go to the dr and they will be able to give you something.
I really hope it passes for you soon!
I vomited pretty consistently for about 6 weeks and accupuncture was great for me. It was allow me to feel human for about 48 hours after the treatment. I was proscribed Zofran and Maxalon but I found that accupuncture was the best.
thanks for the suggestions.
I have 3 dogs so they are always on the go and they look at me every day like "cmon mum let's go"!!
I just groan and roll over!
Sorry to hear you're experiencing MS. I also found that the travel bands take the edge off it. Just don't leave them on 24/7 as apparently they'll loose the effectiveness. I hate ginger but I found the blackmores morning sickness tablets which have ginger in them also relieved it. I would take it when i woke through the middle of the night to try alieviate the morning horror. Although I did get it random times day/night. Hope your over it soon.
These things helped me - vegemite, soda water, not allowing myself to get hungry, carbs.
I couldn't handle water at all - only soda water, mizone or really weak cordial. The last two are easiest to throw up  I was vomiting up to eight times a day but thankfully that's all passed and now I can drink water again - hooray!
I sympathize with you and hope you find something that works for you.
Peppermint tea (was a life saver for me with DD!), green apples and I have even heard almonds to snack on regularly with the boost of protein can help.
water crackers, making sure I had/have breakfast, sipping water all day, fruit tingles, I only use/d the seasickness bands when passengering in the car
Mine so far has only been around mid morning and then dies off towards the afternoon. I carry cordial around with me and whenever i feel queazy i have a sip and it seems to work for me. But i make sure i eat every 3-4 hours. But then it could get worse as im only 4 weeks..
