anyone fallen pregnant while using contraception?

namely a condom???
I know definately that it did not break or fall off while DTD, but I do know that I would have been ovulating at the exact time we DTD. Now 9 days later I feel SICK:sick: It doesnt feel like a tummy bug sick, just this constant nausea for the last 2 days and lower pelvic cramps on and off. The nausea seems to settle when I have something to eat and then a while later flares up again. I also have a slight cramp in my side (which I am sure was the side I ovulated from)
How likely is it to fall pregnant using a condom without it breaking or falling off? Can that actually happen?

I believe it 'can' happen as condoms are only 97% effective if used correctly. Have you tested?

Like Queen said, they're not 100% affective. So yes, it can happen.

I tested this afternoon but I had not long been to the loo and at 9DPO I think it would prob be way to early. Might try again tomorrow using FMU.

Try again first wee of the morning. I got BFP at 10dpo with Nina & 'bean'.

yep, dd was a condom baby - not sure how that happened...

OMG really? My DP will be impressed :lol: Personally I would love for us to have an oops baby because in reality I cant see us having another one any other way, he just cannot be persuaded to have another. So hopefully the choice is taken out of his hands hehe

My first angel was a joint condom/pill baby, no break, no slip. You'd think with the combination you'd be pretty well protected lol.

DS on the other hand was just a pill baby, but I'd taken antibiotics about 3 weeks before he was concieved, so I don't think they were out of my system yet lol

Then again, I'm ttc #2 at the moment, and last cycle thought I was preg, had all the symptoms - nausea, bb tenderness, cramping and constantly browsing on food. Only thing that stopped the nausea was food lol, but then a couple of days before af arrived I found out I had tonsilitis which was causing all of the symptoms. Although, it could also have been a chemical pregnancy too, but we'll never know for sure.

I'd get a blood test done though.

I have heard of people falling pregnant whilst using a condom so it is possible..... hope you get the 'oopsie' baby that your hoping for!!!

I'm pregnant now with an oopsie and couldnt be happier :)

well this morning I woke up feeling ok, so thought oh well it must have been a bug. Rolled over to get out of bed and **** nauseous :o really really unwell. I did another HPT with FMU and it was BFN (although I swear I could see "something" ) Today I have had the nausea all day and taighness/cramping in my pelvic area/tummy. So dont know what is going on, I have another HPT for tomorrow, if thats a negative I will just wait it out for Saturday

Gosh it sounds promising though doesn't it!..especially if you think it's still quite early..
